Bush Telegraph - - ENTERTAINMENT & DINING -

The Brass Monkeys are on tour again! Their New Orleans style of music is infectious, with titles like The Mooche, Peckin’ and Maple Leaf Rag.

Having toured for many years, the group is now led by Christopher Wilson on lead trumpet with eight brass players and a piano player. The one-hour show is full of classic tunes and a sound, usually only heard in‘the South.

They are only doing one show in Tararua, so get stompin’ down to the Old Dairy Factory on Saturday October 27. The $15 entry includes refreshments and a good catchup with the locals. The doors open at 7.30pm.

One show in Tararua — the Brass Band Monkeys.
