This year over one hundred and twenty entrants were nominated by the community for the awards.

Trevor Jackson is an avid supporter of local businesses and the community, along with the many other sponsors who enable the Awards to happen. Councillor Hull says The team is delighted to have Jackie Clarke as our MC/entertainment. Jackie is a professional who excels in this type of performance, the night will be lot of fun, and end with a party atmosphere.

This year's judging panel were Wendy Morrison, General Manager of Media Works, Mark Maxwell, Economic Development and Communications Manager at Tararua District Council and Dr Wayne MacPherson, Massey University PN, Bachelor of Business, Master of Commerce and Doctor of Business Administration.

Councillor Hull says being a judge is a tough job.

We want to recognise the time put in by them and the organisers, and wish good luck to all entrants.

The tough work is done -now the partying can begin.
