Crowds try 24-hour gym

Bush Telegraph - - NEWS - By ERANA PEETI-WEBBER Owner/ Manager Activate Gym

Activate Gym had a very successful open day on Saturday October 27.

People rushed in at the opening to find about the 24-hour opening launch.

Everyone gave the classes a go and looked around the gym.

The gym has a large group of regular clients who come in to regular training sessions at set times to be coached by specialists in their field.

Clients can also attend on their own at hours which suit their lifestyle — which may even be 2am because of the 24-hour opening service.

We are very lucky to be able to provide Dannevirke and surrounding areas with this service.

To become a 24-hour member clients need to go through a pre-induction, and if they pass this then a more comprehensive safety induction before they can be accepted.

This is to ensure that the clients are in good health to use this service.

A doctor’s clearance or police check may be required in some instances.

Everyone’s health, wellbeing and safety is paramount to us.

Once qualified you are issued a key to enter whenever you want to. After normal opening hours the gym is monitored by cameras viewed remotely by staff.

Spin — regulars and visitors try out the exercyles.

Doing the stretch — regulars and visitors try out yoga.

Pump — regulars and visitors try out the weights.
