Quilt challenge done

Bush Telegraph - - TRADES AND SERVICES DIRECTORY - By DAVE MURDOCH

When Leah Satherly was bequeathed a set of incomplete quilts from her late sister Susan Plummer, together with materials, patterns and tools, she passed them on in April this year to the Cottage Quilters to see if they could complete them.

The club readily took on the challenge with Pam Smith undertaking the gargantuan task of completing a hand sewn quilt Susan had been making for Leah.

Six months on and the club’s nine members displayed the finished quilts during the Cottage Quilter’s Exhibition at the St Joseph’s School Hall.
