MOUTH-WaTERING CHEESY BEEF SLIDERS WITH BEETROOT SLaW
Ingredients Serves 4 Ready in 30 minutes Beef
■ 1 carrot, grated
■ 1 drizzle of oil
■ 600g beef mince
■ 11⁄ tsp smoked paprika

■ 1 tsp ground cumin
■ 2 tsp oregano
■ 1 Tbsp garlic powder
■ 2 tsp mustard powder
■ 1 tsp onion powder
■ 1 Tbsp flour
■ 1⁄ cup beef stock

■ 1 Tbsp tomato sauce
Sliders
■ 12-pack slider buns
■ 90g colby cheese, grated
Slaw
■ 1 beetroot, grated
■ 350g slaw
■ 2 tsp dijon mustard
■ 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
To serve
■ 4 Tbsp burger sauce
Method
Preheat oven to 220C (or 200C fan bake). Set aside a lined baking tray.
Prep and cook beef:
Grate carrot. Heat oil in a large frypan on medium-high heat. Add carrot, beef and spices and cook, stirring, for 4-5 minutes, until beef is browned. Add flour, stock and tomato sauce and cook for a further 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
Do not separate individual buns. Place hand flat on top of buns. Use a bread knife to slice through all the buns
Meanwhile, prep sliders:

Assemble and bake sliders:
Place bottom buns in lined baking tray. Top with an even layer of beef, cheese and top buns. Bake for about 8 minutes, until cheese is melted and buns are golden brown.
Grate beetroot in a large bowl and toss with remaining slaw ingredients. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Make slaw:
Sliders on a tray with burger sauce and slaw on the side. Pull apart to serve.
