Wicked The Musical returns
North Shore Music Theatre makes its triumphant return with Wicked The Musical this month after facing multiple postponements in 2021 and eventually the cancellation of the season in 2022.
The Barfoot & Thompson season of Wicked The Musical opens at SkyCity Theatre on March 31.
‘‘It was a devastating blow when we had to cancel our season, but I’m so thrilled we’ve been able to return and put on this marvellous show and finally give Auckland audiences the chance to enjoy this beloved musical’’ says Kiwi music royalty Tina Cross, who has returned from Australia specifically to play the role of Madame Morrible in Wicked
The Musical.
Alongside Cross is a cast of more than 40 of Auckland’s top performers, including the likes of Teresa Wojtowicz playing Glinda and Heather Wilcock in the role of Elphaba, who have spent weeks rehearsing for this massive production.
