Youngsters enjoy sevens

Primary schoolers from all over Central Hawke’s Bay took part in the 51st Ongaonga School 7-a-side Tournament last Thursday.

A total of 73 teams from 16 Central Hawke’s Bay primary schools took part in the longrunning tourney competing in the four winter codes of football, rugby, netball and hockey.

Senior Football winner: Ongaonga; runner up: Waipawa Senior Rugby winner: Ongaonga; runner up: Terrace Senior Netball winner: Waipawa; runner up: Pukehou.
