Wonky Donkey author at show
Craig Smith — author of acclaimed children’s book The Wonky Donkey, recently won the APRA 2018 children’s song of the year with Scariest Thing In The Garden.
He will be promoting his new album Not Just for Kids 2 and his just-released crowd-funded book The Drizzly Bear on this visit to the CHB A&P Show this week.
Craig Smith will perform songs from his much-loved books The Wonky Donkey and Kaha the Kea along with new releases The Drizzly Bear and Scariest Thing In The Garden .
The interactive live show, packed with singing, dancing and humour and led by APRA award-winning musician and author Craig is aimed at ages two to 10, but relatable for the whole family.
Craig will be available to sign all his books, CDs and T-shirts at these shows as well as have photos. He will have a full range of merchandise for sale.
Keep an eye and ear out for the new Wonky Donkey adven- ture and tune that is not due out until later next year.
Armed with his guitar, puppets and costumes, and a flash drive Craig puts on a 45-minute interactive show along with a 10 to 15-minute question and answer session. His Kaha the Kea costume is perfect for any extroverted older student or teacher to act in, while a monkey mask can also be used by a volunteer for a 30-second panto routine.
