O¯ ta¯ whao Takapau WI November 8 Eighteen members met at the RSA hall in Takapau.

D Tidswell welcomed everybody.

There were apologies from six members.

D King is in hospital. We had a new member, C Partridge, who spoke to us last month about canine friends. This time she was not accompanie­d by her dog.

We have had an invitation to the Waipawa-Tikokino WI Christmas party at the Senior Citizens Hall in Waverly Street, Waipawa on 11 December at 11.30 am with a $5 gift exchange.

The CHB Federation Christmas party is on the of November 27 at Latitude 40. All are invited and asked to take a $5 gift to be exchanged.

We discussed what we are going to do for our Christmas party and it was decided that we have a pot luck lunch at the RSA hall on our normal meeting day. Take a $5 gift to be exchanged with another member.

Volunteers were asked r to sell raffle tickets outside Countdown on November 23.

Our entertainm­ent was playing housie with marshmallo­ws as prizes.
