Smedley rewards its graduates
Guy Latham took top honours at the Smedley prizegiving, attended by the traditional crowd of more than 200 family members and friends of the cadets on the station near Tikokino, in December.
Guy, 18 and the seventh generation of his family on a farm in the hills above Little River, Banks Peninsula, claimed the annual proficiency award for allround excellence among the graduating second-year cadets.
