Central Connect received a donation of $750 to help this volunteer social service with their free services to the community, such as counselling and social support.
“We really appreciate the extra funds at this time, which will be used to support needy families in the district — families that have had a tough year and come out the other side,” said Donna Pirini, wha¯ nau social worker with Central Connect.
Another $750 was donated to Te Wairoa He Hapori Haumaru (Wairoa Safe Communities).
