Thumbs up: for the new recycling teal bins for paper and cardboard they look great.

Thumbs up: to Omakere School for their amazing Environment Sustainability Programme — you guys rock x.

Thumbs up: to Neen Kennedy for all the mahi she does spreading the good word of the importance of recycling.

Thumbs up: to Doug Simpson for caring so much about the grounds of Ongaonga School. You are amazing at keeping our fields in top shape. Your efforts are much appreciated — thank you!

Thumbs up: to the male Countdown customer who used the hand sanitiser at the door, signed in and then used the trolley wipes to sanitise the trolley handle as well as the trolley sides. Thank you for being a very considerate and responsible person.

Thumbs up: to Jared at CHB Engineering for an awesome job on our project.

Thumbs down: to the so-called professional truck drivers who roar down the hill and across the bridge into Waipawa with Jacob brakes on. It starts at 3.30am. Read the no engine braking sign.

Thumbs down: to the people using Harker St as a bypass off SH2. The speed limit down there is still 50km. Please slow down and keep our tamariki safe.

Thumbs down: to the train drivers who park up around lunch time blocking the road in Otane, stopping traffic. Would be nice if they moved a bit further along so we could move.

Thumbs down: those road humps by the old 4SQ have to go! There’s zero need for them now and it’s causing a shitbag situation on SH2. Whose decision is it to impede traffic flow for no viable reason?

Thumbs down: to the roadside rubbish and broken roadside barriers. Not a great example for CHB.

Thumbs down: to all those that cannot understand the importance of recycling.

Thumbs down: to who ever is taking the large amounts of shingle towards Ashcott Rd bridge. Looks awful with a huge hole just left in the ground.
