THE LEVEL 3 RULES

-

At alert level 3, the risk of Covid19 in the community remains high. We still need to stay home to stop Delta.

Here’s what we all need to do to keep safe at alert level 3.

● Keep your bubble as small as possible. If you need to, you can expand your bubble to bring in close family, isolated people or caregivers. Once you are in that bubble, you need to stay in that bubble.

● Whenever you leave the house, you should wear a face covering. This is mandatory when entering a business or service currently open at alert level 3. The same rules around face coverings also apply in additional settings such as visitors to health and aged care facilities, for delivery drivers, at public transport departure points and for customers in taxi/ride shares.

● Continue to work or learn from home and keep children at home with you, if possible. Only people who can’t work from home should return to the workplace.

● Travel between regions is restricted. If travelling between different level areas, evidence of approved travel is required.

● Businesses involving physical contact cannot open – for example hairdressers, personal trainers, driving instructors and tattoo parlours. Support continues to be available for people and businesses affected by Covid-19.

● Keep scanning QR codes, and make sure you have Bluetooth turned on in the app and on your phone. Public facilities remain closed, for example, libraries, museums, cinemas, food courts, gyms, pools and markets.

● Gatherings are strictly limited. Funerals and wedding ceremonies are restricted to 10 people. Twometre distancing, face coverings and record keeping are required at all permitted gatherings.
