Time to renew licence for dogs
Thames-coromandel District Council reminds dog owners that payment for dog licence renewals is due by July 31, after which a 50 per cent late payment fine applies.
If you are registering your dog for the first time on the Coromandel, the council can give new owners advice about restrictions on beaches at certain times of the year and other useful tips.
To renew your dog’s registration online, go to the online payments portal on the council’s website www.tcdc.govt.nz/ renewdog and click on the “Renew my dog registration now” button.
You can pay by credit card or by bank account to bank account transaction, which doesn’t incur a bank surcharge.
If you use the online pay system a receipt is produced on the spot and your dog’s tag will be mailed to you.
To renew online, you will need to have your dog reference number as shown on your renewal letter.
If any details on this letter are incorrect, you can update the details using the Dog Maintenance Form before making a payment.
Or you can pay at one of the councils offices around the Coromandel.
