CONGRATULATIONS TO PETRINA TURNER-BENNY who wins a mixed dozen of these award-winning Wairau River Wines (RRP $240). Marlborough has become world-famous for its award-winning sauvignon blanc wines and, in this category, few have stood out as well as Wairau River. In 2018, Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc won a gold medal at the New Zealand Wine of the Year Awards and another at the New Zealand International Wine Show. More recently, it also picked up a blue gold award (a step above a gold) and made the Top 100 in the Sydney International Wine Competition 2018.
