AMY STEWART

I’m an Auckland-born, Seattle-raised and, until recently, Edinburgh-based writer. Though my first love was art history, I find writing about both art and food relies on using words to describe experience­s beyond words. I now spend my time combing the Waikato for new-to-me food spots from my base in Kirikiriro­a.

JESSICA HEMMINGS

I’m a bit of an aspiration­al aesthete and a serial collector. I love giving a dried up leaf a second life as a model in a still life shoot and I have a soft spot for anyone who makes things with their hands. If I can keep creating mini worlds through styling I will be one happy gal.

STEPHEN WONG

New Zealand’s most recent Master of Wine, I am an ex-sommelier who runs Wine Sentience, a freelance group in Wellington. When I’m not teaching, writing or speaking about wine, I can be found either on a beach (or track) somewhere in beautiful NZ, deep in some sci-fi novel, or on the decks reliving my DNB past.

SAM STEWART

I grew up in Arrowtown where there is a striking change throughout the seasons and this led me to want to get out and explore the natural world and capture the details. Seeing, photograph­ing and tasting the delicious elements of nature in the kitchens of amazing chefs is very inspiring.
