Congratula­tions to Auckland photograph­er who recently received two awards in the

a leading celebratio­n of the art of food photograph­y and film. Manja picked up second place for an image taken during grape harvest at Waiheke’s Tantalus Estate and another second place for a striking image of an octopus taken for Hiakai: Modern Maori Cuisine. Much applause also due to Monique Fiso for taking home two awards at the New Zealand Book Awards for her stunning book Hiakai. Inspiring to see these two talents making a huge impact on the telling of our New Zealand food story.
