ORGANIC WINE WEEK ANNOUNCED FOR 2021

Organic Wine Week 2021, on 20-26 September, promises to be the best yet, with new activities including bespoke tastings and virtual events. Centred around the spring equinox and now in its fourth year, Organic Wine Week is dedicated to celebrating organic wine, its positive impact on ecosystems and health, and its importance to the New Zealand wine story. It’s an opportunity for people from all over the globe to come together to share, learn and sample New Zealand organic wine. “Over the last 12 months we have seen a massive upswing in demand for organic wine. Consumer awareness is increasing as people want to know where the product they are choosing comes from, how it’s grown and the impact it has on the environment,” says Clive Dougall, chair of the producers’ association Organic Winegrowers New Zealand.
