“Having not left Marlboroug­h for many days, I am finally leading the Cuisine wine tasting in my hometown of Blenheim, smelling and sipping more than 210 of the country’s finest sauvignon blancs and rosés six weeks late due to the global annoyance that is COVID-19.

As keen as we are for the Cuisine adorer to have the January issue chock full of our sauvignon blanc and rosé selections for summer, with Auckland being in a required hibernatio­n for over 90 days, it has simply been impossible to do. So the best we can offer is a short wait until the bumper March issue, which will provide you with the ultimate catch up of the very best sauvignon and rosé alongside some exceptiona­l aromatics, riesling, gewürztram­iner and pinot gris.
