THE ART OF GIN

-

Each issue of Limited Label is 300 premium bottles of gin featuring innovative, original artwork on the bottle. It represents a new creative platform for independent artists to showcase their work, a beautiful keepsake for collectors and a meaningful way to support the art community. Each issue will be created by a different artist, with a portion of sales going back to the creator. For Issue 01, Limited Label has commissioned

‘Moment’ by Ash Sisson, a.k.a. ‘Chimp’, a Wellington-based artist known for his vibrant murals. ‘Moment’ (left) shows two faces printed on double-sided labels that mirror each other through the glass, capturing the impression of two people gazing into each other’s eyes. And on the inside, a super-premium and uniquely botanical dry gin created in collaboration with the award-winning distiller Ben Leggett from his boutique Marlborough distillery, Elemental. Aromatics include angelica and coriander on the nose with lifted iris flowers over an earthy backbone. ltdlabel.com

?? ?? New Zealand’s first drinkable seawater, Ocean, is fresh, bottled drinking water made from just clean Northland seawater and sunshine. It’s made from a bountiful source, it doesn’t drain any water from our vitally important aquifers, and it’s made using just solar power. Any water that does not evaporate is collected as concentrated brine and dropped next door to The Taipa Salt Pig company which turns the brine into salt. oceanwaterco.com
