GREEN BEANS WITH CITRUS BUTTER & ALMONDS
SERVES 6 / PREPARATION 5 MINUTES / COOKING 5 MINUTES
600g green beans, stalk ends
trimmed zest of 1 orange juice of ½ orange
20g butter, softened
¼ cup slivered almonds, toasted
Cook the beans in boiling water until tender. Drain and combine with the orange zest, juice and butter. Place in a serving dish, sprinkle the toasted almonds over and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
