GREEN BEANS WITH CIT­RUS BUT­TER & AL­MONDS

SERVES 6 / PREPA­RA­TION 5 MIN­UTES / COOK­ING 5 MIN­UTES

600g green beans, stalk ends

trimmed zest of 1 orange juice of ½ orange

20g but­ter, soft­ened

¼ cup sliv­ered al­monds, toasted

Cook the beans in boil­ing water un­til ten­der. Drain and com­bine with the orange zest, juice and but­ter. Place in a serv­ing dish, sprin­kle the toasted al­monds over and sea­son with salt and freshly ground black pep­per.
