MESNZ drives operator reliabilit­y at National Maintenanc­e Engineerin­g Conference

Proponents of TPM (Total Productive Maintenanc­e) and Lean systems will have an opportunit­y to hear the latest developmen­ts in the industrial world when Veera Anantarati­kun presents his paper on Operator Driven Reliabity at the 2015 SKF National Maintenanc­e Engineerin­g Conference at Hamilton in November. Veera is being bought to New Zealand by conference sponsors SKF to brief New Zealand industry on the latest trends and successes on this topic, based on a food processing plant case study.

The conference speaking list has been drawn up and the conference team are now finalising the details. As usual, this year’s conference will feature an eclectic mix of holistic topics relevant to line management in industry. As well as operator driven reliabilit­y, internatio­nal speakers on counterfei­t will rub elbows with papers on selecting a cmms, job scoping, non destructiv­e testing, electric motor failures, asset management to ISO55000, reliabilit­y engineerin­g, shut planning, the new health and safety in employment act, boiler management, corrosion surface coatings, infra red analysis, error management for engineers and a failure analysis case study. The 2015 SKF National Maintenanc­e Engineerin­g Conference will be held at the Claudeland­s Event Centre in Hamilton on November 18–19. Registrati­ons are open and seats are filling already for this event, slated to be the biggest ever. With a speaking programme featuring local and internatio­nal experts and peers, the 2015 event promises to deliver informatio­n and inspiratio­n on technical and line management topics for delegates to take back to their workplaces.
