Parker oil monitoring and cleaning equipment saves time, money and costly downtime
The Parker range of online and off line filtration and contamination monitoring products are extensively used by EHL Group to minimise the running costs of all its customers.
Oil is the lifeblood of any hydraulic system and regular checks on the cleanliness is essential in the day to day running of any piece of hydraulic equipment. Contaminates are the main cause of system failures and monitoring the oil can not only show if your systems filtration is sufficient and working correctly, but can also show trends for potential component failures.
All hydraulic component manufacturers give a minimum recommended ISO or NAS cleanliness level for their products. This is a minimum level and there are multiple reasons why the system should be maintained at a higher level of cleanliness. EHL use the Noria/Parker Target Cleanliness Grid which takes into consideration over ten risk factors relating to the specific system to come up with the best cleanliness level for the system, not just a generic number.
EHL recommends Parkers online LCM20 laser particle counter as an excellent tool to check the required cleanliness level while the equipment is running. Off line filtration and monitoring with the Parker 10MF filter cart with iCount particle detector can not only condition the f luid but also give a real-time visual ISO or NAS figure. If your system is designed to achieve the required cleanliness level and is maintained and monitored, it will prolong the life of the system and prevent expensive down time saving you, the client money.
