The Ti480 comes standard with 640 * 480 detector resolution, 307,200 pixels, a significant lif t from the standard detector resolution of earlier models. But there’s more – with the SuperResolution feature this thermal imager captures and combines 4x the data to create a 1280 * 960 image. That’s 1,228,800 pixels – that’s right 1.23m pixels. What- ever use you need the thermal imager for, this resolution will present you a superior image showing the temperature variations occurring.

Also available now is the 4X zoom lens, which adds real value in many specific applications including; intrinsically safe areas/ zones/unsafe areas – allows you to get the information you need without having to enter these areas; secondly areas that are too hot to get close to (our imagers go to a max of 1200°C); and lastly objects that under normal circumstances too far away to capture effective thermal images e.g. tall stacks at a refinery or similar, power lines and their associated components, joints, etc.
