Workplace Health and Safety Show
Trusted industry trailblazers and game- changing newcomers will unite at the Workplace Health and Safety Show 2018 in Melbourne, showcasing the cutting- edge technology, processes and products taking the safety world by storm, promise the organisers.
Health and safety pioneers including global eye safety kings Bolle Safety and Swinburne Professional will exhibit side- by-side with fire safety innovators Elide Fire, and tech visionaries Breon Telematics. They will be joined by cloudbased safety experts myosh, a major sponsor of the event.
The Working at Height Association ( WAHA) and the Master Builders Association of Victoria (MBAV) will be part of a major building safety feature and working at heights feature on the Exhibition floor, highlighting the latest in safety products and services in these sectors.
Myosh is one of many innovative products of Netsight, an Australian-based global vendor of cloud-based environmental health and safety solutions. Offering over 70 core modules, each myosh configuration can be seamlessly integrated with existing external software, and offers features including risk hazard identification, audits, workplace safety incident investigations, and plenty more.
Established in 1888, Bolle Safety dominates the premium safety eyewear scene, and will showcase its ‘jaw- dropping range injecting staunch protection with a sleek sense of style’. Covering everything from protective spectacles to face shields and everything in between, Bolle caters to a multitude of sectors including construction, mining, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, and plenty more.
Elide Fire has completely transformed fire safety in recent years with its Fire Extinguishing Ball – a compact hand- held ball easily tossed into fires from a distance, detonating to extinguish a massive radius of over 9m. Requiring zero maintenance or training, the self-activating ball renders traditional clunky fire canisters a thing of the past.
Breon Telematics will also showcase its forward-thinking Lone Worker Safety software, protecting remotely working staff by offering precise processes in the event of a distress call. Unique in its ability to support multiple groups with complex support, the system harnesses both cellular and satellite networks to ensure organisations are prepared to mobilise, regardless of a lone worker’s location.
The Workplace Health & Safety Show will take place as a key event for the inaugural #SAFETYSCAPE. An initiative of the highly respected Safety Institute of Australia, the peak body in Australia representing OHS safety professionals, #SAFETYSCAPE is a new week-long programme of events, workshops, forums, seminars and conferences.
