The facility, an integral part of the National Service Centre is located in the Emerson Australia head office in Bayswater, Victoria. The calibration engineers operating out of the National Service Centre provide calibration, repair and analysis services for Emerson brands including Micro

Motion flow measurement solutions, Rosemount measurement and analytical solutions, and Daniel flow and custody transfer technology, as well as many other legacy flowmeter brands.

The Flow Calibration Centre can improve process efficiency, enhance product quality and help organizations conform to regulatory requirements by providing fast, reliable and quality calibration services to industries including oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals, marine, life sciences, food and beverage, metals and mining, and pulp and paper.

Using an ISO17025- compliant quality management system, along with ISO 9001 and the commitment to ongoing process improvements within the

Flow Calibration Centre, this will ensure superior measurement quality, says the company. Emerson’s metrological traceability and certification processes ensure reliable measurements in laboratories and facilities around the world. The Flow Calibration Centre’s Calibration and Measurement Capability (CMC) has been certified with an uncertainty of 0.05 percent for mass, 0.06 percent for volume and 0.3kg/m3 for density. The CMC reflects the traceability, technical competence and capability of the calibration equipment at the Flow Calibration Centre.

The ISO\IEC 17025, NATA accreditation of Emerson’s Flow Calibration Centre further complements Emerson’s National Service Centre’s capability that already includes Rosemount Quick Ship & Repair (QSR) Centre and instrument repairs, and has service teams that can provide onsite support and training.

In addition to the National Service Centre’s capability, the Flow Calibration Centre offers a broad range of services including flowmeter diagnostics and evaluations, 24-hour emergency turnaround, witness inspection services, cleaning, crating, recommissioning, custom calibrations and documentation to establish the quality of calibration, testing and meter repair.
