Thirty years of support

THE VANZ CONFERENCE in Queenstown in 7-10 May next year will mark thirty years of service to those concerned with vibration analysis, condition monitoring and reliability improvement. The volunteer-run, not-for-profit, membership group of likeminded people includes members from Australia and was established to provide a means for people to discuss their problems with fellow analysts and learn from their peers and industry experts.

The conference kicks off with a Practical Hands-on Awareness Day. The session is a targeted introduction into condition monitoring but rather than a classroom lecture-type environment, the training is hands on with the appropriate equipment. Topics covered include vibrations, infrared, lubrication and filtration, ultrasonics and balancing. The session is free to students and apprentices.

The schedule also includes asset management, reliability implementation/improvement, condition monitoring, a technology exhibition and a 30th Anniversary Dinner.
