Flexible solution for a broad range of signal processing tasks

-

ACROMAG HAS broadened its family of rugged AcroPack mini-PCIe I/O module carrier cards with the new Model ACEX4041 which also hosts a COM Express Type 10 processor module.

Acromag’s ACEX4041 Express Type 10 carrier board interfaces four I/O module slots to an Intel Atom COM Express, CPU module on a Mini-ITX format for a variety of data acquisition and control applications

Designed for use in systems with size, weight, power, and cost restrictions (SWaP-C), this carrier card provides a flexible solution for a broad range of signal processing p g tasks. The COM Express p site supports high-performance, rmance, low-power Intel Atom CPU modules. The four I/O O slots interface Acromag’s rugged AcroPack modules or Mini PCIe cards enabling a powerful mix of measurement, control, ol, and communication capabilities. An M.2 slot offers flexible on-board ard storage while a SATA A connector provides additional data storage options.

• The Mini-ITX form factor board interfaces four plug-in AcroPack I/O modules to an Intel Atom E3950 (Apollo Lake) CPU module with provisions for both M.2 and SATA SSD data storage plus a variety of peripherals on-board.

• Ports for two RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.0, two RS232, one Mini-DisplayPort, and audio connections are also included.

The ACEX4040 carrier card allows you to quickly combine a COM Express p Type yp 10 CPU module with a mix of I/O modules for custom computing applications. With its i rugged design and compact Mini-ITX form factor, this ca carrier card is easily mounted in a variety of enclosures for rapid development. Highdensity I/O connecto connectors and numerous ports simplify interfacing to field fiel devices and peripherals. Select from 25+ AcroPack Acro modules to install any combination combinati of analogue I/O, digital I/O, serial I/O, communication, and FPGA pr processor functions.
