MICROSOFT HAS announced its vision for the future of industry, including the launch of Microsoft Cloud for Manufacturing. This industry specific cloud, alongside others was guided by four key principles that would ensure every organisation and industry has the tech intensity required to succeed. These would include:

Aligned to this global announcement, Microsoft has also announced a partnership with ASX-listed international packaging business, Pro-Pac Packaging Group (PPG) as it builds a Microsoft cloud based digital environment designed to drive exceptional staff and customer experiences.
By leveraging Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and LinkedIn Talent Insights, PPG is advancing its supply chain automation and enhancing customer experience, enabling the organisation to engage more deeply with its workforce across a modern, hybrid workplace.
With tens of thousands of products and services designed for customers in multiple sectors across the planet, supply chain transparency and automation are critical as is access to data in order to streamline customer experience. Through utilising Microsoft platforms, the business has seen added benefits including:
