DEMM Engineering & Manufacturing - - EDITORIAL - JANE WARWICK

New year, new opportunities – welcome to 2018. We’re already a month into it and what a hectic month it has been, with heat, humidity, storms and floods. I read that 2018 will be a year in which people will become more aware of imbalances of power and seek to adjust them. This uber-awareness is because of a shift in the Universe that began in 2015. Apparently, nobody knows the cause of the shift – possibly the acceleration of the Earth’s rotation, maybe the recent proximity of heavenly bodies – but it is a shift. Creative people are said to be the ones who will most sense this – that’s all you engineers, designers, inventors, manufacturers – all you makers and creators. There will be growing pains, say the seers, but in general the world is heading in a better direction. However, we also need to be open to things because, they say, our best possible reality might be something we can’t imagine. So buckle up – it could be a wild, albeit satisfying, ride.
