Low-cost compact converters with high isolation
MORNSUN has a new LDE/LHE range of AC/DC Converters in 3W – 25W.
The selection offers upgraded technological and process improvements whilst making advances in overall performance and size along with IEC62368, UL62368 product compliance and EN62368 standards ( pending), ), says the manufacturer.
Product advantages are – improved performance with wide operating temperature ranges; the LDE series offers - 40 ˚ to 70 ˚ and the LHE series - 40 ˚ to 85 ˚. Coupled with 4KVAC isolation that delivers improved reliability and system safety, whilst EMC: EMI performance meets CISPR32/EN55032 CLASS B.
Low cost and compact size makes the LDE/LHE range with integrated internal components allow for a 20 percent size reduction, with greater consistency, reliability and performance, while further improvements make for a lower cost and more competitive device. Due to upgraded automation technologies the new LDE/LHE range boasts high reliability – having in excess of 300Khrs MTB – and a complete suite of protections, output short circuit (OSC), output over- current (OCP) and output over- voltage (OVP), which significantly reduces the failure rate of the converter itself and enhances safety performance for back- end power modules and the load in adverse working conditions.
LDExx-20Bxx range offers 3W, 5W, 6W, 10W, 15W and 20W modules and the LHExx-20Bxx range offers 5W, 10W, 15W, 20W and 25W devices. Design Reference: t ypical application circuit
Applications: Can be widely used in any application requiring a reliable cost effective power source including LED, street lighting control, grid power, instrumentation, industrial control, communication and civil applications.
