NHP emer­gency light­ing meets new com­pli­ance

The Na­tional Con­struc­tion Code now man­dates that emer­gency light­ing is to be de­signed in ac­cor­dance to AS 2293. To meet these re­quire­ments, NHP has an­nounced the Cortem EXEL-L se­ries of emer­gency LED lights are cer­ti­fied to AS 2293.3, mak­ing NHP the only sup­plier in Aus­tralia and New Zealand to of­fer Ex cer­ti­fied emer­gency light­ing with AS 2293 cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, says the com­pany.

This means the range now comes with pho­to­met­ric clas­si­fi­ca­tion data (C0 and C90 val­ues), which pro­vides guid­ance in the light­ing de­sign process, and also passes the strin­gent charge/dis­charge re­quire­ments of AS 2293.

To en­sure NHP con­tin­ues of­fer­ing the lo­cal mar­ket with qual­ity prod­ucts ad­her­ing to stan­dards, com­pli­ance test­ing to AS2293.3 for NHP’s ex­ten­sive range of Haz­ardous Area LED light­ing prod­ucts is cur­rently un­der­way.
