Mott MacDon­ald ap­point­ment

MOTT MACDON­ALD has ap­pointed An­drew Camp­bell as geotech­ni­cal prac­tice leader for Aus­tralia and New Zealand. Based in Auck­land, he will be re­spon­si­ble for the lead­er­ship, de­vel­op­ment and growth of the con­sul­tancy’s geotech­ni­cal team across Aus­trala­sia as well as project de­liv­ery.

MacDon­ald has 25 years’ ex­pe­ri­ence of work­ing on a wide range of civil, min­ing and geotech­ni­cal projects glob­ally, in­clud­ing Riyadh Metro Lines 1 and 2 in Saudi Ara­bia, where he led on the in­ves­ti­ga­tion, as­sess­ment of ground con­di­tions and geotech­ni­cal de­sign for 67km of new metro. An­drew was also the geotech­ni­cal lead for the Auck­land rail elec­tri­fi­ca­tion project, which in­volved the de­sign and con­struc­tion of over 3,500 foun­da­tions for the over­head lines. He joins Mott MacDon­ald from AECOM, where he was most re­cently prac­tice area lead for ground engi­neer­ing across Aus­tralia and New Zealand.
