A sea side family carnival
Exciting games, fun and goodies galore are on the agenda for this Sunday’s Pakuranga Rotary Community Carnival.
It’s being held on March 11 at Bramley Reserve in Farm Cove from 11am to 3pm.
It’s organised and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Pakuranga, the Howick Local Board and Aggreko.
Rotary club member and the event’s project manager, Chris Ward, says everyone is welcome to enjoy the carnival.
‘‘It’s to show the community Rotary and other service clubs, and things such as the Rotary Walkway and the snakes and ladders playground [in Bramley Reserve] are there to provide facilities and services to the community.’’ Although it’s a freeentry event, there will be small charges for some of the amusement rides and food, Ward says. There will be plenty of entertainment available for both young and old attendees, including the rides, musical performances, car displays, electric vehicles, pony rides, and face painting.
