Less is more when it comes to lips this season and as a raft of new release lip tints can attest, the barely there pout will be round for a while. One of the most luxe of the lot, YSL’s Volupté Tint-in-Balm (repped by Staz Lindes: guitarist/model/ photographer slashie and daughter of Dire Straits guitarist Hal Lindes) combines the fun of colour with the benefits of a balm.

Like sleeping in our makeup, working out with a full face of slap is one of those guilty things we can all admit to doing at times. Shiseido get that sometimes a girl needs a bit of coverage while breaking a sweat (especially when there’s a chance of bumping into someone we know), so they’ve created a BB that not only gives you non-comedogenic coverage (no more blocked pores) and SPF, it also makes your face look slimmer. Containing unique powders, this BB reflects light only when hit with direct sun, sculpting and contouring the face like magic.
