I’m all for trying out new treatments, I feel like a kid in a candy store when I look through all of the options available to me, but I have to say this treatment really had my interest piqued. I lost weight recently and it’s often a choice between your face or your body when it comes to weight – losing pounds off your body often reflects in a loss of volume in your face. THE TREATMENT
It’s called a five-point lift because filler is injected in five points on each side of the face targeting areas around your eyes, cheeks, nose and chin. The key to its success is how strategically placed each site is. Using dermal filler injected into the ligaments under the face, this groundbreaking procedure works on the structure of the face rather than the top layer, essentially strengthening the building blocks our skin is anchored on – genius right!?
PAIN FACTOR
I was pleasantly surprised at how pain-free this treatment was – just a series of small scratchy-feeling injections that could barely be felt. The fact that it is such a quick treatment (around 30 minutes) makes it more tolerable too. I went back to work straight afterwards with only a small amount of sensitivity around the jawline – nothing a couple of pain killers didn’t fix.
THE RESULTS
One word: Sold! I absolutely love the results of this treatment – the tiny tweaks have made such a difference to my face. While I was lucky enough to have trialled this through my role as a beauty editor, it is a treatment I would happily pay for. With the results lasting 12 months and being so effective, I think it’s money well spent. I notice the changes mostly in my cheek bones which feel fuller and lifted and my jawline which looks more streamlined – but overall I look fresher and younger – I am back to being ID’d everywhere I go – Yes!
