DOUBLE BILL THRILL

-

Gratitude is certainly a common theme for those of us lucky to live in Aotearoa in this current climate. In response to this collective feeling, the New Zealand Dance Company presents Night Light—an evening of earthy contrast, performing in Auckland, Whangārei, and Christchurch this September. Night Light, which consists of two shows: The Fibonacci and Uku— Behind the Canvas, “invites us to listen, consider, regather, and also to celebrate how fortunate we are in New Zealand right now,” says co-artistic director James O’Hara. The two contrasting—yet complementary—bodies of movement explore energy pathways, connection, and the complexity of the human experience, all the while celebrating our collective strength.
