ANew Year, a new kitchen! If you’ve always dreamed of a space worthy of Instagram but your budget simply won’t allow a complete re-do, here’s a few small tips to give your kitchen a mini facelift for 2019!

1. Nothing says harmony and taste like sticking to the same colour – but using different shades. Decide on your hero hue and play around with different tones and textures. 2. Glass cannisters and jars

are modern, classy and simple, plus they’re great for knowing how much you have left of whatever’s inside! Display on shelves or on top of cabinets. 3. Display your cookbooks.

They often feature gorgeous, colourful covers, so don’t hide them on a shelf or in a cupboard – celebrate them!

4. Indoor plants are a trend that just won’t budge, and for good reason. Adding foliage instantly freshens up any area and makes it inviting – a great trait for a kitchen.

5. De-clutter. Does the blender really need to be on the bench all the time? Can you remove everyday detritus such as pens, receipts and school newsletters to a draw? Clean, uncluttered spaces will also make the room look bigger.
