May is Pink Breakfast month, a chance to get together, eat delicious pink-themed treats, and raise much-needed funds for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
2018 marks 10 years of kiwis supporting Pink Ribbon Breakfasts - and I know there are a number of ‘pink ladies’ hosting Pink Brekkies in Franklin throughout the month of May.
This year the money raised will help fund life-saving research and patient support that could one day help your mum, your sister, your daughter, or your friend.
It’s such a worthwhile cause, and one I’m really keen to support, so this month, we’ll be holding a pink themed morning tea in the office to do our bit.
And you can do your bit too - it’s easy.
Pop along to the pinkribbonbreakfast.co.nz website and follow the instructions to register.
And remember to tell us if you’re hosting a brekkie, so we can let our readers know; and send us photos of your event - we’d love share your good times with our audience. Have a great rest of the week. Julie Kaio News Director OFFICE: 09 237 0400. ADDRESS: 217 King St, PO Box 14, Pukekohe.
