An award-winning play will come to Papakura

- Opposite Sex ‘Allo ‘Allo.

The award-winning comedy

will hit Off Broadway Theatre, Papakura, from May 11 until May 26.

The production will bring together three Franklin locals. Mike Morrow of Onewhero will play the role of solicitor Harry Dangle with Bob Lack and newcomer to Pukekohe, Patty Reid as co-directors.

All three have years of acting and directing experience. Lack even claims he has been acting since before Wilson Whineray was All Black captain. He recently directed

and for Papakura Theatre Company, both of which won Northern Area Performanc­e Theatre Best Play Awards.

While Reid is fairly new to Pukekohe she has lived in Papakura for many years and is a life member of Papakura Theatre Company where she has experience acting, directing and designing award winning costumes.

Her talent for sewing and designing costumes was seen when she won a NAPTA Award for Best Costumes in Papakura Theatre Company’s production of

Mike Marrow is a member of Onewhero Society of Performing Arts.

Although he has only been performing for the past three and half years, he has already appeared in 13 production­s.

In 2017 he directed and performed in the play Dusting, at Cafe´ Kaos in Pukekohe.

centres around Francis Henshall who takes on the role of minder to two different people. As he fights to keep both his guvnors from finding out about his dual role, Francis finds that all is not as it seems.
