PBA promotions bring smiles

-

We are looking forward to seeing the finalists with their submission and their mystery shopper reports. Good Luck to all 50 finalists.

We have been impressed by the coverage and the uptake of our public social media promotions with the competition participation reaching milestones.

Recently a lovely hamper was up for grabs for Mother’s Day, via the PBA Facebook page. The gift basket included goods from Caci Pukekohe, Rawk Hairdressing, and Bella Nail Spa.

A very appreciative Skye McCarthy won the prize.

The June Facebook promotion is to nominate your favourite business and go into the draw to win one of three $50 vouchers for that business. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for further detail.

The number of businesses in Pukekohe is growing along with our membership numbers. The predicted growth over the next 10 years is around 30,000 people, so to accommodate the rise in numbers businesses need to look at the long-term strategy for their own businesses to cater for the growing population in the coming years.

We look forward to seeing future progress.

From the PBA chair: Heather Withers

A huge congratulations to this year’s nominees for the Pukekohe Best in Business Awards.

It is great to see a large number of businesses nominated each year. Nominations show that the public is recognising our local businesses and noticing how great their approach to customers is. The business awards give the nominees a chance to assess their business and to recognise and celebrate their achievements

The PBA is also pleased to have supported and been a part of the recent Rhythm in the Square musical and dance event recently which brought hundreds of existing and potential customers into town.

The event was well received by the public and businesses. We are looking at increasing smaller events around our business community by way of support or creation.
