STAY calm.


MAKE sure the child is in a safe po­si­tion and can’t fall or hit

some­thing hard.


LAY the child on their side to pre­vent chok­ing, es­pe­cially if you can see a lot of saliva com­ing

out of their mouth.


KEEP a look­out for breath­ing prob­lems or any colour change in

their face.


CALL 111 if the con­vul­sions last for more than five min­utes or the child turns blue.
