Am­ber Rose

Am­ber Rose is a Kai­waka-born food writer and chef whose ex­ten­sive ca­reer has seen her travel the world, mak­ing plenty of celebrity con­nec­tions in the process. She worked as the pri­vate chef and as­sis­tant to Sadie Frost and Jude Law be­fore be­com­ing a doula, giv­ing nu­tri­tional ad­vice and cook­ing for new mums. To­day she lives in Matakana and is the au­thor of three cook­books, Love Bake Nour­ish, The Whole­food Pantry and her lat­est, Wild De­li­cious, which you can see more of from page 101.

Melinda Williams

Melinda Williams was a protest kid of the eight­ies, march­ing against chlo­roflu­o­ro­car­bons and min­ing, and for for­est preser­va­tion. These days, she’s a de­sign and ar­chi­tec­ture writer and ed­i­tor, with a par­tic­u­lar in­ter­est in sus­tain­able homes. She lives in Auck­land with her part­ner, kids, dogs, frogs and back­yard ducks. See an ex­tract from her new book, Eco Home from page 76.

Kelly Lynch

Based in Auck­land, Kelly has been an es­tab­lished free­lance travel writer and pho­tog­ra­pher for more than 10 years. The va­ri­ety of her work has seen her hike in the sweaty jun­gle of Bolivia and ski in high­end moun­tain re­sorts of Colorado and Utah. Kelly loves to meet peo­ple from dif­fer­ent cul­tures and back­grounds and to watch wildlife, and says she is al­ways on the look­out for eco-friendly travel op­tions.
