Warren, Margaret “Mary”

Of Mayfair, Hastings, aged 85 years passed away peacefully on November, 6th 2023. Much loved mother of Chris, mother/mother in-law of Fiona & Phil, Jon & Claire. Cherished Gran and great gran. A service for Mary was held at St Matthews Church, Tuesday, 14 November, 2023.

On 12 November 2023 peacefully at Hastings. Dearly loved wife of the late Donald. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Lawrence and Kerryn, Andrew and Tracey, and Jeanette. Treasured Grandma of Emma, Thomas, Henry, Charles, Lucy, Mitchell and Ella. Loved Great Grandma. A Celebration of Valerie’s life will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Hastings on Thursday, 16 November 2023.

Terry Longley & Son – NZIFH Johnson, Peter John (Mother).

Passed away peacefully, at home in his sleep on 7 November, 2023 aged 78 years. Loved son of the late Jean and Ray Johnson, treasured brother to Carol, Deidre, Raewyn, Michael, Vivian, Miriam and James. Special love of Tamati and his mum Sally. Adored friend of Many. Peter/Mother will lay at Taupunga, Waimarama Marae until his service on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.

Terry Longley & Son – NZIFH Van Seventer, Arie.

On Saturday November 11, 2023. Our lord and saviour peacefully called home Arie Van Seventer at the age of 89. Loving father to Vera and Kevin and Craig(deceased), Carla and Jerf, Dan and Bonnie, Al and Sonja. Loving Opa to 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Burial will take place at the Havelock North Cemetery on Thursday, 16 November. After which a memorial service at the Reformed Church of Hastings.

Terry Longley & Son – NZIFH Harris, Maxwell (Max).

Passed away peacefully at Duart Care Centre Havelock North. Aged 83. Cherished husband of Margaret for 60 years. Much loved brother of Lyn and Gary. Treasure father and father-in-law of Cheryl & Andrew, Karen & Gary, and Andrew & Kathi. Special Grandfather. A Celebration of Max’s life will be held at the Havelock North Community Centre on Friday, 17 November 2023, followed by a private cremation.

Terry Longley & Son – NZIFH Porteous, Bob (William Robert, Known as Poppa Bob to his family and friends).

Peacefully passed away on Thursday, 16 November 2023, surrounded by family at Waiapu House, Havelock North. A funeral to commemorate and celebrate his life will be held at the Havelock North Function Centre, on Tuesday 21 November.

Loved Oma, loved and respected friend to many. A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at St Columba’s Church, havelock North on Monday, November 20 2023. Followed by a private cremation.

On Tuesday, the 14 of November 2023. Loved wife of the late Douglas Twigg. Deeply loved mother and mother-in-law of the late Keren. Jenny and Sam, Fiona and Mark, James, Sam and Bron. Cherished sister. Loving grandma and great grandma. The service for Kathleen will be held at St Luke’s Anglican Church, Havelock North, Monday the 20 of November 2023. Followed by a private family cremation.

Tong and Peryer 2007 – NZIFH Davis, Alfred Rex.

On Saturday 18 November 2023, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Anne. Deeply loved father and father-in-law of Gavin and Jan, Craig and Suzie, Carolyn and Brendan, Julie and Grant. Loved grandad to all grandchildren, great and his great great grandchild. Cherished brother. A service for Rex will be held at The Club Hastings, on Wednesday, 22 November 2023.

Tong and Peryer 2007 – NZIFH Murdoch, Betty Una (nee Duncan).

Passed away on Saturday, 18 November 2023, aged 88 years. Daughter of the late George and Mabel Duncan. Cherished sister of Greenwood (deceased) and Andrew. Loved wife of the late Bevan Murdoch, John Walker and partner of Tom Foot. Treasured nana and great grandmother. A service will be held at Birdwoods, Havelock North.

Passed away peacefully on November 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Adored wife of 61 years to Peter. Cherished mother and motherin-law of Amanda and Russell, Gary and April, and Simon and Libby. Much loved Nana. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held in the All Saint’s Church, Taradale on Tuesday, November 28.
