Wine auction gives to Cranford Hopsice
More than 50 guests from the Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction Sponsor Partnership Programme gathered at Church Road Winery last week for the presentation of a $265,500 cheque to Cranford Hospice.
The money was raised from the 27th annual Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction event.
“We are thrilled with this year’s record-breaking result and we recognise the vast contributions that members of the HBWA Sponsor Partnership Programme give each year to assist with running of the event. Through their generosity and support, all funds raised go to Cranford Hospice,” says event manager Elisha Milmine. “It is such a pleasure to work with and be surrounded by such a generous and driven group of people.”
Cranford Hospice Trust chair Hayley Anderson says Cranford Hospice Trust is grateful to the Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction Committee for their ongoing contribution.
“Every day our team supports over 200 people living with a life-limiting illness and their families. This contribution enables us to deliver high-quality palliative care services.
“The auction is the biggest private annual contributor. We are extremely grateful for the hard work of the organising committee.”
