Glamour at community awards
The red carpet was rolled out for the annual Katikati and Waihi Beach Community Awards.
Katikati Memorial Hall was glammed up last Saturday night to welcome hundreds of guests and finalists to the annual awards night.
The awards presentation started at 7.30pm then dancers and award winners in the Sport Team of the Year, Daniel and Kristin Wilks, performed.
Several Waihi Beach businesses and individuals won awards including Waihi Beach RSA, gymnastic coach Ayla Morton, and social group for seniors A Friend’s Place.
