Triton Hearing Thames | Breaking down the barriers to hearing health.

-

There are plenty of misconceptions of hearing devices floating around out there; they’re big, they’re ugly and they cost a fortune. The team at Triton Hearing Thames are working to dispel these rumours, making hearing healthcare accessible for all and demonstrating the truth that hearing devices can be discrete and affordable.

Triton Hearing Thames opened with a beautiful clinic at 606 Pollen Street, Thames in 2020, and is a relaxing place to kick-start your hearing health with a personalised and tailored journey.

Your first port of call supporting the beginning of your journey is with Aimee, who openly greets you at reception. “It is a delight to be a part of the positive change in our clients lives and share on their journey. I get a great amount of joy to see the physical and emotional change once they are able to walk away with a hearing solution that caters to their unique lifestyle”.

Joining Aimee, and supporting you on your hearing journey, is our warm and friendly expert audiology team, Dawn, Lucy and Chloe. Dawn, your local Audiometrist, has trained and worked in the UK for over 15 years before making the move to the long white cloud. Initially for a 2-year period, Dawn loved New Zealand so much it’s now been 4.5 years (and counting). Outside of the clinic, you’ll find Dawn exploring the Coromandel Peninsula and Waikato by foot or bike, whenever the weather allows! When Dawn is not in Thames, you’ll find her at Triton Hearing Waihi.

Lucy, who has been with Triton Hearing since 2017, started her journey into audiology because of a significant hearing loss in the family. “I wanted to help people maintain their quality of life and connect them with their loved ones through hearing solutions. Having watched it impact members of my family, and seeing how better hearing changed their lives, made me the audiologist I am today”.

Chloe, the latest addition to our Thames team, finished her training at the University of Auckland before joining Triton Hearing 18 months ago. Raised in South Auckland, Chloe travels to the Thames community from Pukekohe. “It is hugely rewarding walking alongside clients in their hearing health journey. I’m so appreciative to be able to support the Thames community”. When outside the clinic, Chloe can be found outdoors playing tennis, organising the garden, and exploring the hiking trails of New Zealand. Together, Aimee, Dawn, Lucy and Chloe are the Triton Hearing Thames team dedicated to delivering better hearing solutions with an outstanding level of care and support. With knowledge and experience to help with everything from FREE hearing tests*, FREE 10-day trials, Pay As You Hear subscriptions offers, hearing aid fittings, and expert advice on your funding options, which include fully funded hearing aids through ACC* for those eligible, or a pair of hearing aids for just $495 or $1 a day plus the government subsidy.

“Triton Hearing, right from my very first contact with them, have showed empathic, timely, dignified, affordable service and ongoing customer support. As a younger user needing hearing aids, it was their initial dignified and comprehensive support that hooked me, and their ongoing advice and service that keeps me.”. – Todd, client of Thames
