Season’s coats are super cool
The coats of the season are extremely varied in style, but they all have one thing in common: they make a fabulous statement.
If you’re looking for a coat that will take you out into the world feeling full of confidence, you’ll be spoilt for choice this winter.
Fur is an enduring feature from the last couple of seasons, from full leopard faux fur, to detailed panels. Fur never fails to bring a luxurious feel to a coat and can be dressed down with jeans and boots for a rock’n’roll feel, or taken to the ball over a black tie ensemble.
Trench style coats are also in play and in lighter fabrics that lend themselves well to transitional autumn times or milder climes. Some in more luxurious, floaty fabrics can be cinched at the waist over jeans, or tie the belt at the back over a cocktail dress when you’re not sure how to get from the car to the bar with elegance.
Most prominent is the slightly manstyle one-buttoned long overcoat, and usually in cashmere. These coats will never ever date. They are the ultimate classic and are available in an abundance of wonderful shades this season— from eye-popping red to the ever-chic camel. Their versatility is just incomparable.
The substantial blazer, at threequarter length, creates a super cool look, adding attitude to any outfit. Again, a good transitional piece, the blazer style coat is one you’ll reach for again and again.
Find your knit of the season— all lighter and finer in style than previous seasons— to go under your beautiful new coat. Merino and cashmere are a great option for breathability and four-seasons- in-one-day situations.
They regulate with our body temperatures to provide warmth when we’re feeling cold and to feel cool when you venture inside.
Take the time to find the right coat that will last the distance and make you feel like amillion dollars every time you wear it.
