I prescribe CoQ10 most commonly as support during statin therapy but also to support body systems damaged by diseases, especially cardiovascular, autoimmuneand neurodegenerative problems.

Where just CoQ10 is needed I use a US patented CoQ10 product. If part of a programme for specific health problems I often usemy formula that combinesCoQ10 with various energy and antiinflammatory. Unfortunately the market isbeing floodedwith low cost CoQ10 supplements. In the past, all the good CoQ10 came from one of two Japanese producers. High quality, naturally fermented CoQ10 is very expensive to make and is one of the most expensive ingredients I use. The world gold standard isKanekaQ10®. I recently made a new batch ofmy MTQ10 formulawhich has 100mg of KanekaQ10® in each capsule, at three times the cost of using Chinese sourced CoQ10.

Aclient was taking ourCoQ10 as support for statins to prevent common side effects ofmuscle pain and low energy. When they had finished the bottle they were tempted by amuch cheaper product— less than half the cost withahigher amount of CoQ10 per capsule. After amonth their pains returned. Back on the original high quality product they were fine.
