● Malee Autor: Teaching me to pray my holy rosary daily and visit churches, esp Sunday. Rest in peace Granddad & Dad.

● Shirley Kemp: Christmas afternoons and tea with my many aunties and uncles and lots of cousins. It was a privilege many today will never have.

● Donna-Marie Schulz-Howie: Whenever I’d go visit I’d ring the night before to say I was coming and my Granddad would ask if I wanted beef or pork roast, then when I got there whatever I’d chosen was cooking for lunch and the first thing my Granddad would say to me was “gravy today, kid?’’
